So the Christian college videos that I had up before got deleted, but the Lord blessed me to find this great video about being a Christian in college. This video has great advice for every young Christian that is going off to college, is in college, or is going off to grad school. And hopefully I’ll be able to find more resources soon :)
Here are several links I’ve found on the web from reputable Christian sites that have various topics about college life…
Is It God’s Will For Me To Go To College? —- This is a great question to ask. God knows what’s best for our lives and it may not involve a college education. I wish I had prayed and sought the Lord before going off to college, but I didn’t think to at the time. I just thought it was the next obvious thing for me to do with my life. This is great advice for those who have yet to make a decision about working towards a college degree. Seek His will above all else ♥
Is It Okay To Attend A Secular College? —- I went to what one would call a “secular college”. I went in my freshman year as a “Christian in name only” and came out as a “true follower of Christ”! lol! So it’s best for you and your parents to pray and seek God on where He desires you to go.
Is It Okay To Party & Go Clubbing? —- This article doesn’t specifically talk about college, but this topic relates to the pressures one faces when going off to college.
I Desire Godly Friends, But Yet There Are None I Know Of —- Article dealing with the issue of loneliness and the desire for Godly friends.
Is It Wrong To Go To College Parties If You Don’t Drink? —- Some more advice dealing with partying in college.
Friendship Issues & Relationships That Grow Apart —- In college this is a common phenomenon. As you mature and learn more about yourself, and as your relationship with Jesus strengthens, the relationships with others you went to high school with will most likely change, especially if they are not seeking after the Lord as well.
Hope these wisdom-filled articles and video are a blessing to you all!
